Instead of going out this holiday season to buy gifts tags for your presents this year. Don’t do it… I have free printable gift tags for you the dog lover to use.
Because we all usually have lots of gifts to hand out for the holidays, and we usually end up spending so much money on wrapping paper each year I thought it would be good to make something that you could use year after year so you can save a little money.
You can use these gift tags for Christmas as is, or if you aren’t worried about saving a little extra money and want to jazz them up a bit, you can do that too – but that’s certainly up to you.
I have some recommendations for you in case you’re interested in adding embellishments that I will talk about a little further down in this post.
I can tell you that – I use them both ways, but sometimes I love to add a little sparkle when I can and if my funds allow.😉
There are two different printable gift tag styles – pick one or both; it’s up to you.
HERE IS THE FIRST SET OF FREE GIFT TAGS TEMPLATES TO DOWNLOAD
ITEMS YOU NEED FOR YOUR HOLIDAY GIFT TAGS
- Heavy-duty stock paper or kraft paper for printing
- Scissors to cut the gift tags outline
- Hole punch to make an opening to have gift tags with string or ribbon attached
- Pretty ribbon or bakers twine to go through the hole opening to hang the tag
- Tape to attach tag directly to a gift instead of using ribbon or string
GIFT TAG EMBELLISHMENTS FOR ADDED SPARKLE
Because you can find a ton of pretty embellishments out on the market today, I wanted to recommend a few of my favorites that I think you would like and look great on your gift tags, and you can get them easily through Amazon to save you a trip to your local craft store.
- Metallic cord to use for hanging tag instead of ribbon
- Sparkly snowflakes
- Glitter gel pen for signing tags
- Green glitter holly’s and berries
